The history of converse

 Converse got their name in 1908 from his creator Marquis Converse. This type of shoes weren´t good for the sport.The first shoes were made with Rubber and Canvas.
 The Converse become more popular when in 1920s were special shoes for basketball and the converse were promoted by players of the NBA and later this type of shoes were the official of NBA shoe and it was very popular with artists and musicians,too.
 Converse are less popular because the company start to sell the trainers of NIKE in the year 2003.But now they are very popular and they sold 950 million of pairs in 2008.
